    Owner & General Manager

    Chelsea leads as both Owner and General Manager at Little Qualicum Cheeseworks, where she merges a passion for small business and local food. Chelsea enjoys running, craft beer, and fostering connections within her community.

    Albert

    Owner & Farm Manager

    Albert is Owner and Farm Manager at Little Qualicum Cheeseworks, bringing extensive dairy farming experience and a dedication for the field (pun intended). When not farming or helping other departments, he enjoys a round of chess or a game of soccer.

    Sam

    Farm Operations

    Sam, originally from Holland, plays a significant role in day-to-day farm operations. Even with the hard work and long hours, he enjoys the farm life working with animals and driving tractors.

    Koichi

    Plant Manager

    Koichi is everyone's favourite DJ in the cheese plant, where his positive energy often echoes in the form of song and dance. His culinary experience has led to an impressive affinity for flavour pairings (he is the mastermind behind our Feta Whip). Koichi's last meal would be Unagi, seconded by a Japanese curry.

    Levi

    Cheesemaker

    A cheesemaker by trade, Levi joined us from Switzerland to share his expertise. His passion for excellence and flair for innovation have brought our cheeses wide recognition for their quality, earning them multiple awards in his time here. Away from work, Levi is an avid kite-boarder and enjoys seeking out spots to catch some wind on the Island.

    Mitchell

    Cheesemaker

    Mitchell enjoys the hands-on task of transforming fresh milk into cheese, and never fails to cultivate a positive work atmosphere while doing so! In his free time, Mitchell enjoys reading and making scale models.

    Viktoriya

    Packaging Manager

    Viktoriya has been with Little Qualicum Cheeseworks for over a decade and enjoys managing the packaging department, where her efficiency and orderly task management are right at home. Viktoriya is all about cats and Fridays.

    Office Manager

    Michelle has been with the Cheeseworks since its early days. With over 20 years experience spanning nearly every department, she is an invaluable asset to the team for her purpose-driven efficiency and excellent leadership. She also bakes the very best carrot cake.

    Katie brings a versatile skill set to her role, managing marketing & creative endeavors in both the physical and digital worlds. Away from work, she is an avid woodworker and can often be found gardening with her dog.

    Heather looks after the Farmgate Store, keeping it stocked with lots of wonderful local products while managing the store team and operations. Her positive leadership and contagious motivation are a valuable addition to the crew.

    Assistant Store Manager/Administrator

    Violet blends her administrative skills with a passion for creativity and artistry. Alongside her work tasks, she finds inspiration from her travels to the Amazon rainforest, South Korea, and Japan. Violet finds joy in music and art, and holds a particular fondness for cows.

    Store Assistant

    Kathy has been with the company for over a decade and is a cherished addition to our store team. When not at work, Kathy enjoys getting outside in the garden.

    Moira brings dedication and excellent customer service to the Farmgate Store, where she assists in daily operations. She's always ready to make a new animal friend and is adored by dogs, cows, and people too. Also a car buff.
