A note about the Critter Corner
We have an update on the Critter Corner, for those who've been wondering why it's been closed!
When three little goat kids joined us this Spring, we closed the area to give them (and a protective mama) some space until they grew stronger.
But now, the pen remains closed as a couple of our older goats aren't keen to have human visitors around!
Whitney, the old white goat who's been around for years, has become a grumpy gal. She's quite territorial and will resort to pushing, chasing, and even kicking those who get in her way!
And Bonnie, the little black and white lad with the horns, is generally quite sweet but scares easy when approached. That combined with the horns makes us a little nervous - especially with children around.
And so, with safety in mind, we've decided to give them some space for the time being by closing their pen to visitors. We're very sorry, this must be disappointing for many but we hope you understand! That's life on the farm.
