Feta Oil

As soon as we discovered feta oil, we knew it had to be tried with our marinated Sunshine Feta - and it didn't disappoint. This flavour fest is delicious served with a soft bread like focaccia.


  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 100-200g LQC Sunshine Feta, finely crumbled
  • Fresh mint leaves, chopped, for topping
  • Sliced almonds (optional) for topping
  • Lemon zest (optional) for topping



1. Heat olive oil in a pan.

2. Removing the bayleaf, reserve the marinade seasoning from the Sunshine Feta and lightly chop.

3. Add seasonings, chili flakes, & garlic to hot oil.

4. Let them sizzle a couple minutes or until the garlic is beginning to turn golden.

5. Let cool a bit so the feta doesn’t melt. Stir in the feta* and top with fresh mint leaves. *The amount of feta you add is up to you! We went all in with a 200g piece. We would also recommend trying a finer crumble that you see in the photo so it’s easier to scoop up with bread.

6. Serve with bread to soak up all the vibrant flavours!

Extras can store in the fridge for a few days and be reheated before use.
