How to Make a Pumpkin Baked Brie: 6 Simple Steps

If you're looking for an easy way to dress up your next Fall gathering, this might just be it! Follow these 6 easy steps to make an appy so cute, you won't want to eat it. Just kidding, no one can resist that golden flaky pastry and the melty Brie within!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin butter
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1 piece LQC Island Brie
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Sage leaves, for garnish
  • Baking twine

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F/190°C. Prepare your pastry as needed by rolling out on a lightly floured surface.

2. Spread pumpkin butter in center of puff pastry sheet. Sprinkle brown sugar and place Brie.

3. Cut pastry into a circle. Wrap puff pastry around brie, removing any excess pastry. Tie with baking twine.

4. Turn over so the smooth side is up and baste with egg wash.

5. Use some of your pastry scraps to fashion a twisted stem for your pumpkin; place on baking sheet with wrapped Brie.

6. Bake until golden, about 25 min. Allow to cool slightly before handling or removing strings. Secure your stem into the center and garnish with sage leaves.
